52. updates, updates

I haven't updated this blog for a wee bit. I apologize for neglecting it, there's been so many things in my life lately! First of all, I started curvylurvy.com, which is a mini blogshop offering handpicked, quality and affordable clothes for short, curvy people like me :) I offer clothes like the following:-

I offer free postage within Malaysia (woahhh!!) so do place your orders now by visiting:-

Or follow me on instagram (cause that's where I upload my things first) at

Anyways, another big news is also under wraps. I can't reveal it yet, but Alhamdulillah it's such a rezeki and blessing for me and hopefully (not to jinx it) everything will work out. Okay I'll try updating daily. So sorry for being so late in my updates. I might be doing more outfit of the days now :)

39. entrepreneurship 101

In spirit of "moving forward", I've been keeping myself busy with going to an entrepreneurship course, visiting dealers, researching, all in preparation for the project next year.

You might as well know that I'm planning to open a shop next year with two partners. It's a lot of preparation, especially the paperwork, and most importantly funding. You need to calculate a lot of things such as profit and loss, location, raw materials, overhead costs, whether the effort will be worth the outcome.

There's so many attributes when it comes to selling something from a brick and mortar shop. An entrepreneur should be innovative, proactive, risk-taker and always positive. This ultimately shapes the success of the business, along with the profit and experience. However, the catalyst that helps the businesses's sustainability are careful planning and monies $$$. There is no such thing is too much research!

Alhamdulillah, in Malaysia, there are many agencies who provides such funds and grants. For future entrepreneurs, look for MARA, MEDEC, PKEN, SME Corp, PUNB, TEKUN, TERAJU, and the likes. The list is endless. There are even legal guarantors such as CGC.

But don't forget to do it all in style!

22. work crazy.

I am currently working on a project that is under wraps. All I can tell you is that it will be launched in November :) You would never guess what it is. It's a little out of my comfort zone, so I'm trying my best not to be intimidated or scared shitless (it's a daunting task sometimes).

Here's me with Hafiz, one of my staff who will be working under me. He reads me blog so hellooooo. Work your ass off, ya! Hehe.

Here's me with Nazrin & D, post consultation and discussion for the project launch. I get asked a lot if it's weird working with my ex. Alhamdulillah, I think I've come to terms with the past and the best thing for me would be just to move on with my life. It's a bit weird at times but to me, business is business and you have to separate your personal life and professional life. You have to build a really thick skin and be strong-willed.

At the end of the day, for me it's about finding rezeki. It didn't just fall into my lap; I've always been self-sufficient and independent since I was 17, and for me it doesn't matter where the source is from, as long as it's legit and I'm earning from this. Who can say, at the age of 24, that they've launched two successful projects, both completely different from the core? Who says no to money and success? It works out different for different people, I guess :)

Here's a picture of me being completely silly at work :) I'm daydreaming on Doof beanbags about Brad Pitt or someone hunky, heh. Most likely.
