Weekend fun.

I had a rather adventurous weekend so I will break it up to two posts! On Friday noon, my bf took me to a nice little lunch at Chilli's. Thank goodness I didn't order the cajun chicken whatever it was because we ordered a burger and Triple Play thingy. We were both soooo full. Mm. Good fun, premade. American style.

The Triple Play. Is that the right term? Or was that for TGIF?

Me! Bom cha cha.

Also went to KLCC on Saturday with plans of cheering up S who got into a nasty squabble with her bf (har har, what is up with us girls). We trudged around KLCC in the hot heat, jumping and sweating under the glare of the sun. I wanted to take a picture of the kiddy pool but the security guard thought I was a paedophile (???) and said "TAKLEH AMEK GAMBAR KALAU TAK BAWAK BUDAK" (cannot take your pictures here if you do not bring kids yourself). However a bunch of tourists were snapping away heavily and I pinpointed that to her and she rushed off. I don't think they understood her, however. Poor woman.

We can't get the real cruise so the next best thing is a fake shot next to a Ralph Lauren boat.

Paparazzi!

We walked into Harrods. Surprised there wasn't a dress code! RM 16 for titchy strawberry cheese cakes and RM 50 for a box of toffee =(

Took this shot of the barista woman making Godiva's super overpriced RM 22 shake o_o. So surprised people buy this shit yo. But damn I do wanna taste it.

We went to the Signature food court in KLCC for some affordable meal. I spent RM 30 on the spaghetti oglio alio oglio oglio (whatever it's called), fried rice, deep fried chicken and a drink, wooo woo. Affordable huh.

Yummm. Ignore my greasy hair/face.

If you're in KL or you ever plan to come here, just spend 5 minutes standing in front of the LV shop like a bunch of dorks and see if the wall pattern doesn't jump out at you. I took a picture of it but it's not the same =( You have to go there, it's like a Kandinsky painting, it'll just suck you right in. Too much for your eyes to handle.

We ended the day by paying homage to the Tugu Negara (national monument). Unfortunately we arrived a wee bit late, we were trekking the pathway to the statue when we heard trumphets. They had closed the gates and were taking down the flag. I got goosebumps and felt honoured to be a Malaysian. Imagine how many lives were sacrificed for the better of the country.

Ridiculous things.

BUSY BUSY BUSSSYY BEE. There's 3 weeks of uni left (this sem) so we have a lot of final presentations, reports, and generally useless paperworks to submit. 28 credit hour, I tell you! Never again.

I did not have time to take any pictures, but I promise you tomorrow night there will be spectacular shots of me and the boyfriend. We're going a date, finally, after so long. Usually we'll be with other people but yay. I have no idea what to do. I was thinking of KLCC, the Petronas Towers. In all it's glory and beauty. Hundreds of fluroscent alighted behind me. The famous water fountain swooshing in the background.

I was re-watching Gossip Girl and first I was actually irked by Blake Lively's slurring words. But I grew fond of her. She is adorable. And her fantastic body! Damn. Girl if I had that body I would not even bother wearing clothes. Penn Badgley is a lucky guy. I made a quick collage of her:

In my opinion, she looks best in the rich blue dresses she wears. It suits her skin tone, accentuates her ahem. In fact blue suits everyone. I find that when I wear blue my skin tends to pop out more and my face glows. Everybody should have blue staples in their wardrobe. Especially electric blue! Suits everyone. Even blue eyeshadow makes Asians's brown eyes pops out.

Think I will go and get me some blue eyeshadow, shimmer powder and new blush mousse! I really like Eva's eyes. Rich electric blue and lots of eyeliner makes eyes look amazing! Need a part time job badly =(

Squeeze those juice!

I've been looking at a few fashion blogs and I love the creativity people use, wear and show just by wearing clothes. Blinding colours, zebra zig zags and leopard prints, oversized cotton tees with rebellious statements worn over glimpses of long legs, nothing else. Haha if I tried to wear that here in broad daylight I think I would either get sued or people would look at me like I've gone yodo.

At uni, we have strict clothes guidelines we have to adhere to - long sleeves, long pants. Nothing too tight and short. Mondays and Fridays we have to wear baju kurung - our national clothes. Tuesdays - Thursdays are casual wear, but it has to be plain jeans, no holes acid splatters bla bla. Not too skinny. Although the metrosexuals of the faculty seem to be defying that law. I like to dress simple and casual anyway to classes. Especially on Wednesday, where my class drags from 8.30 am until 10 pm.

On my way to my public opinion class.

Had a German oral test this morning. Nervous as fuck. No matter how much you read, practice, you can never have that genuine slang. I fucked up my readings, pronouncing my 'v' as v and not as 'f', even stuttered on my zwanzigs! 26. I kept reading it as sechsunzwanzig with it pronounced "sex on swan stix". My German lecturer's eyebrows wriggled skyhigh haha.

Can't believe there's only less than 3 weeks left until our classes finish! We're getting our graduation robes this Saturday. Convocation (for diploma level) is next Sunday. Waddle waddle!
